Here it is

Well it took a few days longer than we expected but here it is. The following video is a the first in a series. What is interesting is the more I comb through the materials the more strange things I find within the frames. I'm sure there is a connection between these tapes and Hope's abduction.

The more people who see these the better and if you find anything in the videos please let us know. All these efforts will give me something to take back to the police who are moving so painfully slow.

first video coming Monday

Been working with Tom on editing together Hope's footage. It's been taking longer than I would like due to my work load. Trying to balance work and school has been difficult over the last few weeks. But we are close to launching the first in a series of videos. Our goal is Oct. 1st.

We've been noticing elements within the video. They appear to be strange symbols. Been trying to figure out what they mean. If you know what it means or have any idea what type of symbol it is please drop us an email hopeismissing@gmail.com

taking matters into my own hands

Well it's been almost three weeks since I turned over the tapes to the police and they still haven't viewed them. I've decided to take matters into my own hands. I can't sit back and wait for someone to find Hope.

With the help of my friend Tom, I'll be editing together the tapes that "Deep Throat" sent me. The tapes include Hope's movies, footage of someone watching her and a ton of creepy shit. I'll be posting them online. I've started to contact some sites to see if they'll help to spread the word and bring some attention to this case.

Not sure how to phrase this so I'll just come out and say it. Hope's mother Connie tried to take her own life on Sunday. She digested a cocktail of pills and now she's in a coma. Now I've never gotten along with Connie, she's a troubled woman. I sent some flowers to the hospital but not really sure what else I can do.

This past weekend was a tough one. Hope and I had made plans to travel south down the coast for an end of summer vacation. I can't believe it's been two months since she disappeared. It rips my heart out daily.

On a more positive note - to everyone who has been sending mail, THANK YOU so much for your support it's been overwhelming. Ever since channel 13 ran the segment about Hope and our efforts to find her, we have received an outpouring of emails, letters and phone calls.

I've been calling the police daily to see what they think of the tapes but I haven't heard anything back yet. I'm going to call again tomorrow and my goal is to have some type of answer prior to labor day.

It's Hope!

ALL THE TAPES ARE HOPE'S!!!! I almost fell out of my chair when I placed the first tape in the camera. And there she was - Hope was on screen. From what I can tell so far these are all the tapes that she shot while she was at her mothers.

I called detective Becker today and I could barely contain myself as I explained what I'd received in the mail. So Tom and I are copying the tapes now and then shipping everything off to the police.

What's strange is that there is footage of someone watching Hope. It's creepy. Also some of what Hope's mom was doing was down right disturbing. The police don't want me to show anything to anyone especially not online.

Today is the first happiness that I've felt in a long time. I know in my heart that Hope is still alive!

Hope's birthday

Today is Hope's birthday. She is 23 today. I sang happy birthday this morning to a picture of her and couldn't get all the way through. I called out of work and will most likely skip class tonight.

This afternoon I received a strange package. The return address just said Deep Throat. There are a number of unmarked tapes inside and few strange notes. I don't have a camera but Tom said I could borrow his. I looked up Deep Throat online and it is both a porn film from the 70's and also the name that had something to do with watergate.

pissed off

Today I got a call from the detective handling the case and the call ended with me screaming at the top of my lungs. The police have been driving me nuts since the beginning. Their slow and there hasn't been any progress. I've been considering bringing on some type of private investigator to help. Something anything to help get Hope home. Just typing this is pissing me off and now my stomach is upset. I have to go lay down.
